Reserve range with Touratech tank

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already:
Has anybody determined the reserve range of the X-Challenge after the Touratech long range tank has been fitted?

I would be surprised, if all TT-tanks are identical, but when the reserve-light comes I now have roughly 1 l reserve from the tt-tank plus 2,2 l from the original tank.

Good choice, it's beefy and worth it.
I'm glad it helped you, it was quite a coincidence as I haven't checked Adv for several days and just logged on in your hour window..

New Challenge Owner

Thanks....for helping me find it....this link still works
-------------
the owner's manual you can download it here
"service" and after the "Gebruikershandleiding" select the model

http://www.bmw-motorrad.nl/nl/nl/index.html
--------------

I appreciate all of the information in this forum for the Challenge. I recently purchased one. It is a police edition that came from Alabama....it only had 700 miles on it and looks new. Evidently they didn't use them after they bought a few.

Anyway....It didn't have a manual and the links on this forum seem to be old and not work any longer. Can someone point me in the right direction for a pdf manual??

Also, if anyone has a rear tail rack they want to sell...I would love to have one. And any other parts that may be good.

Thanks.

Something's missing!

I came back from a ride and noticed something was missing from the top of my fork bridge- I thought it was just a cap, but it's the adjusting screw in the middle of the upper fork cross brace.Pinch bolt on the side is still there. I didn't feel any slop riding it to the dealer, I would have trucked it in if I had known it was more than a cap. It's a $12 part but has been back ordered for weeks now. Anyone have or know of any parts bikes to score one of these? I would think it's the same for all the X bikes? Dealer says he has no idea when or if he can get one. I'm sort of F###ed.

Thanks for any info.

Here's a pic, part number 3

Throttle Rocker

What are you guys using for a throttle rocker type device for long rides? I am going to remove the one return spring but would still like to find something so I can rest my hand a bit while on the hwy.
Suggestions and how you like it would be good

Original Throttle Rocker. Currently there seems multiple copies of original design available.
