best purchase ever

I put 1100km on in 2 days and i cannot give enough praise to my pro screen that I just put on. yesterday i poured rain for 400km and i was so happy with the purchase awesome wind protection, and in the rain most of it missed my core, keeping me kind of dry
I also put on some cycra pro bends this spring. great investment.

If anyone is looking at windscreens proscreen is worth your money and a lot more

thats definitely something I dindt want to hear..

I placed the order about 10 days ago, and was told that I could pick it up in about 40 days.
It was the same with the TT tank(4o days) but to my surprise it got here in 20 days..

Im really hoping to get it on late august at worst.. I have a trip to Peru planned for late sept. and would love to have the fairing installed and tested.

fingers crossed

Maybe uncross the fingers, then use them to call TT and tell them you are depending on their promised delivery time for your Peru trip. Include the comment that if you don't get the product as promised, it'll adversely affect your very expensive overseas trip.

Here's a not so good pic of my Cycras:

The throttle side is real close to the clutch lever ball. I probably should have cut off the ball or shaved it down a bit, but it does fit. The bar clamp is also real close to the brake lines.

I believe I got the Magura bend clamps. You definitely have to fight with them to get the bolts to line up. It was the same way with my DRZ. Also, one clamp is upside down relative to the other so it can go around brake lines.

Yup, I was told 4-6 weeks delivery. That was 14 weeks ago.
The tank arrived quickly, around the same time that yours took.
I was informed this morning by our local agent that my fairing has been completed and is in Germany awaiting shipment. I would hope yours was made at the same time.

Great news!

I've just sent an email to TT Arg. asking for an update. hopefully I'll get the same answer

Yeah that kinda sucks. One big crash and they rotate and take out your front brake reservoir? I moved my throttle outwards as far as possible by enlarging the hole that the pin on the throttle body fits into. It helped on my Barkbusters.

The Cycra clamps for Magura are tapered right? (Is that the 1153-02 clamp?) I might need to switch to them on my Barkbusters which I had to grind the chit out of in order to fit decently since they clamp onto the tapered section of the bars.

I give up. Googling did not declare a winner for a "proscreen". So who makes it and what is the model number, etc?

Cleaning the idle air controller is what did it for me.

Holy crap was that gunked up! It took me a while clean that crap up. I decided to swap out the spark plugs while I had the airbox off. Those bastards are hard to find when you need them spur of the moment.....
I am not sure if that was the issue yet or not but based on what I found it could not hurt to get that cleaned up. Still not back together yet, waiting on plugs.

Here's the vendor thread: http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...ight=proscreen

There's a link in the first post. I think that is still where people are getting them. I don't think there is a domestic vendor. I like it, but I take it off in the Summer to get some wind on me. You can see the mounts on the bars near the Cycra mounts. I keep those on year around and just slide the screen in when I want it.
