I hope everyone had fun and made it home or to camp, safely. Probably not everybody had a great time, but maybe everyone had at least a good time for a while. Or maybe now everybody is thinking back about the loop and remembering the only good parts.... Sorry. I had fun but I'm sorry about the injuries to bikes & riders. I'm anxious to hear that everyone is OK. Here are some photos. Enjoy.
Scorpion & I headed towards the rendevous

Camp

More later.

Don't worry I'll still ride with you. I have to you know all the cool trails!

Thanks for the info Punk. I guess I can stop worrying now. On with the show!

Monkeytrick has had his 950 for three months and he already rides it like a dirtbike. Guess nobody told him about the six month transition period.

When I told him fossils have been found in the area, he immediately rode up on the side of a hill and dug a hole.

Yucca fruit is edible but illegal to pick. So if you did try to eat it, you might poke your eye out!

2old2race yells up to WzlTech, "Third gear pinned!"

Mr&Mrs Monkeytrick ain't buyin' it.

Bob and DannyG were up front all day.

I told Monkeytrick I justify aftermarket part purchases by busting the stock parts first. Apparently he liked that idea.

At the top of 18 at the Cactus Flat staging area turnoff, DannyG provided us with some entertainment while we were putting on more clothes.

The hill looked much bigger with a motorbike on it.

I didn't make it either.

Bullseye

Red dirt. Wzltech

DannyG

Monkeytrick

Fmfpunk

Bullseye

He's 2old2race

This is just before Monkeytrick's front brakeline broke.

WzlTech always looks so relaxed. It must be the music he's listening to

Bullseye was so fast through here I almost missed him.

Fun trail

The Monkeytricks passing though Rimrock.

DannyG & Bullseye headed towards Pioneertown

And lunch!

Hondo, not Honda, Canyon.

This is where the bummer part happened. Mrs Monkeytrick overcooked this downhill corner and absolutely destroyed a bush and her left thumb. It got really swollen.

So Punk stashed his bike by this rock and rode her bike to the road where she was able to ride 25+ miles back to camp. Tough Lady! Thanks also to DannyG for the 1st aid.

Thanks to everyone for a fun ride with a fun crew!

Nice pics.....it was a good timing with the cool weather to ride out there ................and your list (bikes only) keeps on growing !

The desert looks beautiful, especially if it's littered with oranges, hondas and 1 KLR!

What happened to Scorpion?

Nice Ride

That was a fun day. I didn't pull the camera out too many times, but here are a few pics...

The gang taking a break and watching DannyG attempt a huge hill-climb:
