Sad

Sad, to say the least. My prayers are with you. Time will help in the healing. My best friend was killed in 1982, and at times, I still feel his presense while riding.

I'm sorry to hear this...

I went through the same thing in '05. We had logged almost 100,000 miles together. It's been 3 years now and he still rides with me on every trip. We're stilll telepathic, he's still in my mirrors and everytime I sneak through a thunder storm I look up and wink at him. When I enter a corner a little hot and pull it off, I think of how we would talk at our next stop. I just finished a 1600 mile ride and traveled many of the same roads and stayed in many of the same hotels. I thought it would be sad, maybe even wierd. It wasn't. We still talk, laugh and see the same things. I miss him very much. Help his family, tell his stories and re-live his life as often as you can.

Really hate to hear this kind of news. Thoughts and prayers out to his family/friends.

Do we know if this by chance happened in East Tennessee yesterday afternoon? It is being reported in Knoxville that a man from Lousiana hit the back end of a truck in Blount County near Townsend, TN yesterday afternoon and did not make it.
