Sounds a lot like my place, but unfortunately, it wasn't free.

There's 10 acres about 5 minutes from my house that I'm dying to buy. It's already got an MX Track on it. How do I convince my dad\boss to pay me 3x as much?

The county should turn some of these useless forest preserves into riding land . All I need is a few of you guys , D4 dozer , and a few days . We're in business .

heh talk about stirring the pot...

I only asked in the case I was missing something, as I am not originally from here and still don't totally feel like a local (moved here in 2006 after 8 years in the Marines). As for the Moose Dog, I think he would have to be very drunk to offer those terms...

STANIMAL does bring up a valid point however, if we could find a large enough area to support all size bikes and ATV's we might be able to petition they support us ( I sense a very uphill battle however). Has it ever been looked at for the Chicagoland area?

Again I asked because I don't know the history so looking to get edjumcated (misspelled intentionally).

Thanks,

Good Idea and a real uphill battle for sure. While working at it we should include a Shooting Range at one end of the riding area and then we can get the NRA on our side.

And if he runs out of bikes for us to ride, we can bring our own tired/worn-out bikes, and Moose will work on them, for free, and with a smile on his face, and feed us (really really bitchin'ly good) burgers and microbrews while we wait.

Who doesn't/can't luv Da Moose?

Mark

I'll be out @ Rocky Glen this Saturday. Would prefer to go to FVOR, but got plans for the evening & gotta work around travel times. I'll be in the Blue Ford Ranger, possibly pulling an enclosed trailer.
