I'd be a buyer for a 56 or 60" deck for a John Deere 425

Or even a complete 425 with four wheel stearing

Does anyone know of a 4-or 5 gas EGA equipped eddy current brake dyno in Chicago-land? I'd like to see if I can get my DR650's carb dialed in after replacing a lot of internal (worn) parts. Someone suggested 4&6 Racing but I think they've been gone a while (3 years). TIA.

Work announced a new policey yesterday to give all hourly Westinghouse employes 3 paid sick days a year, so I was the first one to take em up on it today.

That sounds exactly like my Husky, right before it locked up. I'm not a mechanic and didn't do the work. From what i remember from the guy who fixed it said, there is a nut on the end of the crankshaft on the left? side that came loose. It was rattling around in there and finally caught and locked the motor. Behind the water pump maybe?

If you've got a diagram, I might be able to recognize it. It was only about $30 in parts from Hall's including the gasket.

My bike started making the same noise and I was concerned about it and would ask guys to listen, but they all seem to think it was no big deal. I knew the bike was rattling more, but just shrugged it off. Then while riding and thankfully just idleing along the bike locked up and died. I thought I'd broke a piston and jammed a piece in the crank, but it was this nut on the end of the crankshaft that came loose and got wedged in there.

I just installed\torqued that nut after replacing the primary gear that busted. I'm gonna have to pull the motor again, and make sure nothing is messed up on the trans side. Not what I want to do, but I need to go through it all. My biggest concern is the consistency in the sound. Maybe there was a tooth messed up on the clutch basket that I didn't catch.

Now if I ride poorly on Sunday, I can blame it on the Honda XR
