Because I knew it was gonna blow up 30 minutes after I sold it. The new owner wasn't too happy. Actually it ate the reeds and was an easy fix for him, but I felt bad the bike took a dump, right after he bought it. I liked the Husky, but I wanted a new shiney bike and I sold three bikes to get it.

Just ask JZEE. He had to buy a backup KTM for his normal KTM otherwise he'd spend more time on the lake than on the trail.

The only KTM I am interested in is the Freeride ,(and the one I want to sell), but want to see if it gets here and how much its going to cost . If its going to be another $10K bike , forget it .

Here is a nice YZ mod, it will give you high lighting power.
check it out:
snag the used one, great deal

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-YZ250...b61744&vxp=mtr

or buy new http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-YZ250-15...33f412&vxp=mtr

and finally if you ride like this , you won't have to worry about KTMS in front of you:

Thats a hefty price. OEM WR (pre electric start) Stator & Flywheel will bolt onto a YZ250F (with minor machining of the ID of the flywheel bore....not a problem in my case). That gets over 100w of juice. More than I'd ever need. I won't bother though. I'll be doing more racing on the bike & rarely if ever am out in the dark. Too scary.

You're just saying that cause the Martha Stewart bike launched you into a tree.

No, bike did exactly what I told it to do.
My right throttle hand on landing said launch and bike surely did comply.
User error. I am not so great on jumps but keep trying/crashing.
If it was on CR500 it would be incredibly spectacular.
I do love my $500 yz400f and have it all modded out now.
It rocks offroad, nice power.
Emig triples, external stator, lighting, desert tank, kickstand, rear rack, and a plate!
