![]() I woulda been up and running had I of not had my issues reassembling the cases the first time. It is what it is, and it'll be back in action here shortly. WR Gears, Big Bore & some fresh bearings n such. I couldn't stomach the extra 260$ for the stroker. Though it is tempting

Haha i know!!! I am getting this thing back together and if it runs and lights work and such (pretty sure my lightimg coil is fubared) it might end up in a plated/titled frame insteadof the one it came in...unless anyone knows how to get a title...

From what I've found, its almost easier to find a frame with a title on ebay. It's how I got my XR plated.
What route are you doing for lights on the KX? I've been looking at options for lighting on the YZ, but the best one (finding used pre e-start WR stator\flywheel) is a crapshoot on ebay. That or a 35W Electrosport stator which I don't trust too much. I've considered re-winding mine, but there is very little info online about taking an MX stator & adding a lighting coil to it. Andrew

Hmm, Looks familiar. I had to get a new crankcase for my lowly KLX this winter. eBay saved me a ton of $$ too.
![]() ![]() If you need special tools Autozone lends them for only a refundable deposit. ![]() Cracked boss on crankcase and thrashed clutch gear that started the whole case swap. ![]() Slapped most of it back together and fired it back up a couple weeks ago.

I was too busy riding my dirt bike over the winter to work on it. Headed to MO this weekend to ride.

I'm still not ready. Bottom end on the YZ is all buttoned up. Top end & then toss it back in the bike. Should be rolling.
The snowfall killed my motivation to work on the bike, so I got distracted with the following: ![]()
