Just saw Adam at the CDSR Mamet and greet dinner last Saturday. He looked great and was upbeat.

Why do we live here!

I think most of us as motorcycle riders with a bent toward offroad riding would agree that Chicago is a terrible place to live for outdoor activities. So why do we continue to live here? I could do my job with my current company from either Phoenix or Dallas. I'm stuck here because my wife has no desire to move and our families are both here. I do enjoy the five months of decent weather we get but the endless winter really gets depressing. And don't get me started on the entire state being paved. Couldn't they leave a few roads unpaved!

I've ridden street bikes west of Byron many times and agree there are nice roads out there. I don't recall a lot of gravel but it's been a few years. What are some nice routes?

Check out some of the tracks here:

Cannonshot provides so many good rides. You'll be pleasantly surprised to see that there are actually some decent places to ride in Illinois. Or just over the border into WI.

The way I figure it someone will be able to help you and this other inmate all in one day, you 3 together will have a great ride and I think also get a free dinner and free fuel as well.

I did too, I wouldn't say he looked "great" but he did seem to be in a pretty good mood. Time will tell........
