Id rather get a tooth pulled than ride that monstrosity...never had a root canal, but can only assume it hurts a hell of a lot less than getting a tooth pulled cuz it costs a hell of a lot more to have done...LOL

Prolly the only riding I'll be doing this weekend is to/from the parts shop, needing to do full rear brake tear down and overhaul of the F250SD. Left rear grossly overheated, and I suspect the same failure as the other side: the parking (shoe) brake backing plate rusted through, the hold-down pins pulled through, the shoes bacame dislodged, and a whole bunch of mess ensued. And these parts ain't cheap either!

Happy FOJ to everyone, Happy Birthday, America. Ride safe.

I saw that quote once and thought it was funny.

I had to work today and my commute is from Joliet to Addison so I rode this in today. Made the ride much more palatable

My Te310 is in the shop at Countryside BMW having the power-up finished. Hopefully it will be done later today.

Did about 100 miles on my moms 2013 r1200gs yesterday. My wife quite enjoyed the ride. This area in Wisconsin is quite nice. I think we'll go so some more today.

Moosedog,
I fenagled a pit pass at Elkhorn yesterday and found my old friend Al Sumner to say hello...While talking with him I mentioned that I spend a little time on ADV rider and I asked him if he knew the fellow who belonged to both the Forest City Riders and Aztalan who called himself "Moosedog"...that I enjoy the posts and pics he puts on the ADV site and would like to meet him (you)...Al wasn't familiar with your screen name but, it's kind of funny you were there and judging by the photo of your bike & lady, I had my FXRS-Sp parked right behind where you were standing!

Great races, weren't they?...I hope Dan did well enough to continue to promote a race there every year...I always loved that track and I'm so glad flat track has returned to it!

Is anyone planning on attending AMA Vintage Days at Mid Ohio?

Anyone going to Redbud tomorrow? I'll be there with my wife and daughter. Look for me I'll be the sober guy. We usually sit in the infield track side between the ski jump and the big table top jump.

Thank's for the kind words OTB, I did notice the 100th next to me, thought it was a Wide Glide, I stand corrected, was a great day for a long ride and the races were a bonus.

We were at the Elkhorn Saloon for lunch, bartender said the fair grounds were donated to the county with the stipulation no beer could ever be sold at the fair grounds, that was a real shock to attend a flat track race with no beer!
