I just didn't want to put the plate on a public forum saying I got a plate for a non legal bike. But I'm sure the TSA has called Jesse already and reported me.

It is indeed my camper. It's a 1962 Broken Arrow Tepee. I haven't done much to it, yet. I'm in the process of "rearranging" the galley kitchen and moving the A/C unit to a spot more centrally located (where it will cool the camper better). I also need to upgrade the electric service (adding 30 amp hook-up and 2 15 amp circuits).

Here's a link to my blog post with more pictures: Broken Arrow Tepee.

If you have questions, feel free to ask. My issue is how to get the bike and the camper to one location. I don't have a pick-up and I don't have a way to put the bike on the rear bumper (a la Moose). Maybe it's time for a Ranger with a 4.0 V6.

Dave, my dad is curious... Was it a broken arrow before you bought it or is this a new development since your ownership?

My 200 has nothing but a headlight taillight and a mirror.
But it's gonna get a brake switch and light soon.
Please don't come and arrest me!

All you need is a bike carrier off the back of the trailer . A friend of mine has a kinky one for sale . I can check for you .

Great trailer! I love all things old.

It has always been a Broken Arrow Tepee manufactured by Broken Arrow Mobilhome, Inc. in Broken Arrow OK. I have only seen one other Tepee and its was/is for sale in southern California. Supposedly, there is a bigger model called a 'WigWam' but I have never even seen a picture of one. Broken Arrow must only have existed for a short period of time. I can find nothing about them on the web. To add to the confusion, there's a camper trailer called a "Tee Pee" which was made by a company in Canada. Those trailers seem a little more prevalent.

I thought about that but I'll need to compensate, on the tongue, for the weight of the carrier and the XR. The trailer weighs about 1500 lbs. and I'm still trying to get the tongue weight dialed in. Slapping the XR on the back won't make things any easier. Maybe, some day, though.

I do have a friend with one of those Harley-Davidson Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3 Power Stroke diesel monsters. I'm pretty sure he'd let me borrow his truck. I could put the XR and the trailer in the bed and still get down the road @ 80 mph.

I had an F350 with the 7.3 diesel in it. I pulled a 28ft trailer down to Florida with it and hardly knew it was back there. I miss that truck.

Shouldn't there be a vintage truck pulling that trailer?

There should be, yes. I had my eye on a couple of things that would have been fun; 1963 Falcon Ranchero with 289, 1967 Ranchero with 250 c.i. 6 and a 1968 F-100 pick-up. I just couldn't justify the cost of one of those because it would sit most of the year (and I have no place to park it). I'm usually on two wheels from April thru November. So, I'm only 'caging' it during the Winter. The three vehicles mentioned would stink in the snow and I would hate to expose any of them to copious amounts of sodium chloride spread on the roads around O'Hare (where I work/live).
