Costa Rica to Alaska 2up on 990

Costa Rica

Here is the plan. Next Saturday May 11th. My wife and I will leave from Costa Rica. Go thru Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and then hang out in Belize. Then off to Cancun and play there for a week.
Next part is to get to the U.S. and see some friends and meet new people. No real plan yet. Ride around U.S. for some warm weather then head to B.C. (Canada) and hit the mountains. Then Alaska.

This photo is next to my home in Costa Rica

I rode this same bike from Connecticut to Costa Rica almost 5 years ago.

This link is getting bike ready for my first trip to Costa Rica.

Alaska bound....

We have two of our kids in Alaska and all RR's of this kind bring an interest. How I'd love to ride my bike there one of these days if the time wasn't running away from me! Thanks for doing your play by play.....

We met in Nicaragua or Panama a few years ago, I was on my f650! You and your wife were staying at the same hotel as I. When you get up to B.C./Alberta pm me I have a place to stay in both provinces.
Saludos

Wow, you have a great memory. The best part of traveling is meeting inmates.

Today I'm in New Mexico with inmate Craig.

We hit this ice in Texas just before New Mexico.

What a fun ride. Came in just as sun was going down. At 8,000 feet it did get cold for us.

Here is our map from my GPS yesterday.

Today off to Sedona, AZ then Grand Canyon then Moab, UT.
