plated RT180?

$400 and I spy a license plate: http://santamaria.craigslist.org/mpo/4498334241.html

1990 Yamaha RT 180 dirt bike - $400 (santa maria)

Nice shape. Runs good. Might need a little carb tune up.
-Brand new tires
-Extra new tire
-Clean engine
I'll throw in a gas can and oil to mix.

Front brake needs bled or new seal. Good little project bike.
Everything else works great.

I called him and he said that it was never street registered, they tried to get it done but failed. No comment on where the existing plate came from.

None of the bodywork looks like it fits right or came on that bike.

That is just how a rt180 looks

If it was plated it would be kind of cool ( I use that term loosely ) but I am sure the rattle can paint job would flake off pretty quick

If it was plated it would be a DT 180. Not sure if they ever sold those in the US though ???

Look at the gap where the seat meets the tank at the top. It doesn't look right to me.

I have a 1998 RT180 (last year they were made) that I plated before the 2004 cutoff date. It comes with many extras. It is not $400, however; I do realize the value of a plated, green sticker two stroke.

It has an autolube, so you just put oil in the reservoir and don't have to worry about mixing gas.

I've become a four-stroke girl, so I don't ride it anymore and don't need it. However, the carb is clean, my mechanic has gone over it, and it's in riding condition. If you're interested in becoming its new owner, send me a p.m.

I'm located in the San Gabriel Valley.

My latest Craigslist find...

Should look something like this next month

Anyone know a high desert painter that can color match new fenders to tank ?

Just for knocking around those stretches of smooth asphault out in the Mojave... taking time to smell the sage and creosote.

beat, but cheap 650L

I would usually assume these were stolen, but the ad says he has clean titles:

http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/mcy/4538878663.html

1982 Honda 90 & 1995 Honda 650 - $500 (Pine Mountain Club)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

Moving soon and looking to just get these on down the road.

1982 Honda 90 - great project bike with a whole bucket of parts to boot, does not run

1995 Honda 650 - running condition, needs some minor body work/service

Both bikes have been covered and have sat for about 3 years in storage. 650 is in running condition, just needs servicing and a battery since it sat so long. Previous owner lost keys as well before signing them over.

First $500 cash and they're both yours.

Clean titles on both

Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places I’ve been there weren’t even roads!

posting has been deleted by the author...they're gone

you gotta move really quick on those...I've gotten to the point that when I want a bike, I sit on CL on my days off with a pre-determined budget in cash and my truck ready

if I'm lucky enough to get in before anyone else (especially on a weekday at an odd hour when more people are at work), I pick it up...got a good deal on a drz110 and yz250 that way

Haha yeah, and he says he won't take 4K & a bag of weed? That could be a great offer depending on the size and quality of the bag of weed.
