yeah it kinda is, finding deals for folks sure but pimpin your own stuff is a

we have a FM for that and even there we don't allow CL ads

if the OP can edit if it is his then cool...

The threads intention is to point out great deals to other inmates, not to pimp your own ad (you could have posted the link and no text none of us would have been the wiser right?)

very hard to weed that stuff out, so the collect "we" just hope folks are honest and if they are sneaking their own ad in they should give an inmate a good deal

I do see others doing it, so I just hope it doesn't get out of hand otherwise we will start to have low post spammers dropping in CL ads in here. If that happens the thread goes bye bye

You're right it doesn't. I inferred a different meaning, I reckon. However, in my experience, it's a fairly common Craigslist plea to future buyers to mention that the sale of a bike is due to a pending baby and then want to trade. It's up there with "never been in the rain, never off road, adult rider...."

I'm reading this thread as a link for local CL items specific to the west that may not be in the FM, be it seller or disinterested party. Mods may or may not agree, but certainly I would rather have local sales here rather than in the FM.

Uh, aren't those 1400 Kaws about $ 14,000? I thought $ 9300 sounded decent for a near new one. It's not mine.

I'm sure I can search, but does anybody have any advice/experience on dealing with interstate or long distance sales? Specifically, purchasing a bike that you've never physically seen. It's a risk, but I'd fly and ride.
