I got this hurricane as part of a trade in high school. Be kind, it was my first build I was about 17. It had been 12 O'clocked and needed new forks and the plastic was thrashed. I had zero money so I built it with what ever I could find haha.

Pegs were also trashed when it went over. So This is what I came up with. Not very practical but it was free and it was when my dad taught me to weld.

This was my favorite thing i built for it. I found them on an old boat trailer, Bent and cut the sheet metal then tacked on the housing. I made a reducer so I could still use the original bulb holders.

It was cheap, fun, different, a blast to build, but ran like sh!t. I tore apart the carbs about 100xs never did run right. Had lots of revs but no power. I sold it for $500(about $450 more than I had in it) and I guess it got passed through a few hands. I saw it back in my home town last summer. I tracked the guy down, told him my story, he laughed, mostly about the pegs. Asked him how it ran, he said terrible when he got it. He went through the entire electrical system and found that some one had switch one of the spark plug wires on the coil itself, so even if you had them on the right cylinders it was wrong. He said it ran like a raped ape after he switched it back and he had put about 10k on it since . I def miss it.

Got this one from China...Like the looks, it suits the bike and it's verry light but pretty cheep quality.
Putting this thing on a major diet..It should come in at 410-420lbs full of fuel and redy to roll once finished. Its just inder 120 at the rear wheel with no internal mods...Should work verry well on the 2, 3, and 4th gear twisty roads :)
