8 Flats...

Eight (8) Count them... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8!!!! 4 of them were the rear on my 990S!

Perhaps in future you should remove the nail from the tyre!

But really, you can't just patch the tube you also have to remove the nail.

Thanks guys! You're a barrel of laughs! All of mine were pinch flats with the exception of one and that was when a patch failed.
A combination of many things... too low of pressure initially, nasty rocky terrain, too much speed, and again too much weight when I picked up a passenger. No nails however!

Kinda hard to find "any tire repair guy" when out on the trail. This was a do it yourself kinda trip. Good experience if nothing else!
