Nice RR
Miss Adventure. I'm glad to hear you will be okay. Reading this adventure is getting me excited for when my kids will be able to ride for longer than just around town.

Great writeup Miss Adventure. Things could have been worse, it could have been your motorcycle
You should have used the guilt thing today and made your dad work in the 100+ heat to repair the truck so you could go shopping.I agree with the MSF course and learning to ride a more manageable motorcycle. Did you mention to everyone how many miles you have on the back of a motorcycle. Way more than I do on my motorcycle. Hope to be able to ride with you and your dad soon.

Hiya Nicky!! A month later and her leg is still swollen. At the time of the crash I didn't let on how serious it looked to me and I had her walking it off within minutes. She's itching to ride more. I'm thinking of getting her into the MSF course this fall when she is 16. |

Hi Larryboy!
Have you started building the new forks yet? I presume you took Miss A back in to have that swollen leg checked?

Not yet on the forks. I've got wheels being made and then I'll get onto the front end build. |

Hey Rob,
I cracked the frame on my Red Suzi-lower tube right at the passenger foot peg hanger, just behind the clamp for the upper rear strut mount. I was flying the car and slammed it down at a pretty good clip. I think the clamp put rotational stress on that tube, cracking it where the welds for the footpeg hanger had weakened it. You might check yours and consider replacing or re-enforcing that mount. I believe a gusset tying the frame tube to the tube running parallel and just above it would prevent this. I am repairing the crack and welding a triangular gusset behind it and another gusset (which will also carry the mount) just in front of the rear brake master cylinder.

Thanks for the heads up, Vernon. I'll check it out.
I beefed up the gussets on the sidecar frame before the crash.
