Not getting much traffic on this in the original posting in FM, so I figured I'd try over here.
Looking at a 46 S Santiago on line. Does anyone know the difference between a "R" (regular) cut Santiago jacket and a "S" (short) cut? I realize they probably are slightly larger around the waist and shorter in the torso, but I would also assume the sleeves would be slightly shorter? How much though, BMW doesn't list the sleeve measurements in the chart? I know a 44 , 46 and even a 48 Rallye Pro fit well, sleeves seemed plenty long, but I never really noticed just HOW long, so I could guage against a short. Anyone?? Thanks, Shawn

Try it on...
...if you can.
My experience with BMW gear (I have lots of it) is that each piece seems to have its own sizing scheme. Some run larger than normal, some smaller. Because any BMW gear purchase is at a $$$ premium, I think it's wise to actually try it on at a dealer. Luckily there's one relatively nearby for me (45 miles). Good luck! |
