Virginia has too many damn bikes that no one's ever heard of..

..and the clouds are too low or the mountains are too high.

..and some freaking odd out of the way, at the top of a steep, dead ended, washed out dirt road "free" churches. It was so nice up there, they must have been charismatic.

and I really feel for the poor farmers that have to work in these ugly places.

The cops are out to get ya

There are too many swamps

The trails are too easy

And the mountains get in the way of your sunsets

Hillbillies....Virginia is full of 'em!!

...never mind that 1/2 of 'em are from Georgia..

psst....ya gotta keep looking over your shoulder in these parts....

A church without a parking lot?

yeah....a mirror shot!

Even the rocks are weird

I might just puke again......

Yeah, there's more, but that's all I can take right now!

Yea VA sucks.. Some nasty island in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay with the rudest people I've ever met. Look at that dirty water too....

Sunken boats..??

Crowed waterways!!

Junk piled everywhere

Hey man, your boat belongs in the water, not in the yard!

Such a yucky shade of pink...

Best for last...

How many times have I got to tell you! "Do not drink the orange kool-aid!!!"

Another thing that I hate about Virginia is how they ride on the wrong side of the road like those weird British folk.

Junky old pickups....

...crooked mailboxes...

...can't decide if they should paint a center line or not....

...roads stuck between a creek and a cliff....

..can't find anyplace open on the weekend....

...you can't even escape the sight of "sky-scrapers" if you go out in the boonies....

I really hate how much time I waste on those twisty little farm roads....I always seem to have the sun set on me before I get home!!

What's bad, is after you see this sign...

You have to put up with these kind of roads...

THIS ugly thing is on a crappy road (US220) north of Covington, VA

The road, which appears to be crooked and twisty, is actually straight as an arrow and is boring as all git out.

Trust me..........

I stopped by there in the late 60's sometime in Dec., and the damned hillside (behind me in this pix) decided it was gonna let loose. Several tons of slide made its way on to the roadway. Bottom line: Even the "beautiful" vistas in this state ain't safe, so stay away.... FAR away.
