US-Based Latin America Rider Rally
I nominate Nata Harli to be the unofficial disorganizer of a get-together somewhere in the middle of the US. He's going to need help- starting with an obnoxious name for whatever this might turn out to not-be. Last I heard, he wants to get lost in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Wherever it is, I promise to be late, as per normal Latin America schedules. Edit: Date:August 14-19 Place: Glacier Basin Campground, Colorado. Limit: 25 riders/guests Cost: $15/person. (PM Nata Harli for paypal info) Read all the posts on this thread for incomplete misinformation.

Updated July 29
Here's the participant list:
EDIT: We've decided on Colorado and the date is August 14-19. Pay no attention to this map. EDIt: Map has been removed but you can still pay no attention to it. I was thinking somewhere in this area but I'm open to suggestions: I think anyone from the Midwest, Southwest or West Coast could get here in a day or two. Plenty of campgrounds in the area. Somewhere around the end of July, maybe?

I haven't laughed this hard at an internet posting. Sure- I'll meet you in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, or South Dakota. I'll meet you on a train, in a box, with a fox, even in a tunnel.
Can you post a bigger map?

This sounds like more fun than a bunch of gringos trying to hit on a waitress in Chile with Horrible spanglish accents.
Keep me posted since I will need an excuse to escape Tejas in the summer time! I'll be the one with the bottle of Tequila!

I may be tied up in July, but would enjoy uncapping a few and telling great lies along with you guys if the timing was right.

I can escape from Wisconsin the following weekends, Friday-Tuesday:
June 6-10 June 27-July 1 July 25-29 Aug- anytime in August but actually planning out to August is way beyond my ability. I think it would be great to invite wannabes, noobs, and poseurs, if it's ok with the disorganization rogues?

couple of questions
Can I come? (pretty please)
If your map wasn't so specific,(and included MN) I'd suggest my cabin/hunting land for this adv rally. It would be perfect except instead of mountains we have bugs. (think of the gas you could save Bananaman )Even if I have to drive thru the dreaded Iowa/Nebraska forest (again) I will try to make it. LETS GET IT SETUP!!!

How does August work for you? It works for me and if we can get Bananaman's mind in gear it might work for him, too.
