Dammit....this project I'm on keeps changing scope. I'm not going to make it out there at all, I have to work on it all day today.

Thanks for clarifying the directions - at least I know where to go for the next one.

Which I hope is damn soon!

I feel your pain KMC1. I was going to ride down yesterday but was called in for 'critical lab testing' on a job that had been moved from Thursday up to Monday. I went in this morning to finish the lab workup and found a sticky note saying the job had been re-re-moved to Thursday again...

It's barely noon and the first, make that second, beer is well gone...

(Access to Ute Res land via a fishing license would have been a definite plus today as we ran into several signed "dead-ends". Wish we would have time on Saturday to travel to Fort Duchesne to get a license.)

Bottom-line, i would not attempt the pictured Sowers Canyon "shortcut" unless I had a smaller bike and a Ute tribe fishing license. YMMV.

Here's Harcus on a decent.... steeper than it looks, etc.

The thing about riding w/ Harcus is that he just doesn't have any skin in the game!

Great time DCH, Kowboy and Lara

I was blown away with Lara's riding style and also how little stuff they haul.. This is all the stuff they had for 4 days of riding! It was really impressive... She was also on a 520!

Not to one up you all, I had the Pedapatrol out. Didn't even need a van or candy.

Hick - You wouldn't have enjoyed this ride. We did no field oil changes, removed no engines, did no case welding. Andre attempted to slow us down by faking a radiator cap issue but I found it & made him take us thru the Luge...

We rode clockwise coming out over these rock ramps. Wet but no green slimy moss for excitement...

We returned over some of this stuff...

...Brians trail.

Our camp...roughing it...

Kowboy believes in nothing but the best materials for his heatshields. I might pirate this idea. Looks like a best seller...

Kev n I got 264 miles in 3 days, Andre a bit less since he was slavin in the salt mine Friday.

Till next time...

^^^^^

Next time we should get pictures of the 10 foot vertical cliff ascent! preload the shocks before the wall, bounce into it without bouncing off, and suck it up over the lip!

Andre didn't do the 'suck it up' part and stood in a wheelie on the ledge like a trials rider for an uncomfortable second and i was glad to see him stick it rather than falling over backward down the cliff.

The things these machines are capable of astounds me.
