This was a "semi" used kit. I say "semi" because the PO said it had been installed but he had never taken the bike out. I believe him. If it were not for a few cut wires, I would have said "new". Had to add a new battery but...

And, shock of shocks, the Utah skid plate FITS with a minor adjustment. Amazing!

I have to say, the kit is very well engineered & all fit perfectly. Hats off to Baja Designs. All that said, there is none too much horsepower to flip that 650. A fresh battery does well but ....

O well, it still spins it over better than I ever did. This is a test!

Ummm, what's a "Kickstarter"?

$5 dollar lunch. I will assume you have the proper credentials to
make the call. I agree with your learned assessment.

Racin' wid the U-Haul A$$ team.....frog, fano & Infidel

Part 1: We leave with three bikes loaded on frogs Ford truck and a trailer full of somebodies household..............(Full Of Stuff)

Part 1.1: There is a new development (probably a blown injector) which leads to a dead Ford truck with the aforementioned three bikes and trailer FOS stranded on a road 8 miles off of I-15 south of Beaver and north of Cedar City.

Part 1.2: Hello wife.........and Carly comes through with a tow for the trailer, a ride for the truck with three bikes and somebody's first cousin in Cedar with an option on a 26' U-Haul truck which can carry all the aforementioned bikes and FOS contents to Phoenix........and then Parker, AZ for the Best In The Desert Parker 250 race............http://www.bitd.com/content/blogcategory/1/7/

Part 1.3: After the truck flies down I-15 at 85-90 mph with all the bikes, truck, trailer FOS and now a party of four including the driver, the show must go on......which means everything must migrate into this new U-Haul A$$.....through the muddy rental yard.....

Part 1.4: Now that the "cross loading" (a technical term for us throwing everything into the truck with great caution and some reckless abandon) has been completed, Part 1 ends with our three intrepid warriors (OK, the two racers and their pit crew------Infidel) pulling into Kingman Arizona at 2 am with Motel 6 in their sites for 6 hours of coma..........

............Infidel's computer is not behaving well.......probably has picked up the gremlin that kept harassing Team U-Haul A$$ the past weekend.....but I have promises to keep (a Jazz game) so the balance of Parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be forthcoming.....and by rights, this is a story that should take it's time to unfold......NO PEEKING........

O hi

That thread I am actually wanting to read. Well in the mean time I made a little shorty of my Zion trip just to get one on the board. If you didn't see my juxpostion videos check it out. If you did then you won't get much more than some more pictures and a quick break while you wait for the continuance of the above thread.

That is it.

Come one, come all... Bring your RV and I'll happily cook dinner in there!

Transportation for anyone else is a question still. I have a weak 4cyl truck and a 3 rail trailer that i won't take if i can just throw the bikes in the pickup.

x2 on the sweet ride!

Kev- I may take you up on this... still working out the details; gotta see if I can find a safe place in Mesquite to leave my RV for 2 weeks.

I would have room for two extra bikes or so...

I don't think I've ever seen so many break downs and trailers
without a single Harley involved.

Better luck gentle men, better luck.

Pluric 4 wheel upgrade

Pluric
Have you noticed the new Polaris ? How can a man of your stature not have the best?

"Polaris today introduced the first Robby Gordon edition, the all-new RANGER RZR 4, a sport side-by-side capable of carrying four passengers. The RZR 4 has an 800cc Twin EFI engine behind the back seat for the lowest center of gravity, and at 569 kg, it’s lighter than many two-seaters."

You need this!
