I couldn't agree more! That's why it kills me everytime it comes
up in a home inspection and I have to get someone out to
strap a water heater or install flex line cause the inspector
put the fear of Jesus into a buyer that it will land on their child.

After spending time in Mexico last month I have come to realize we
are becoming the most over regulated Nation on the planet.
The shit we obsess over would be comical if we didn't take it so serious.

Mirror Lake Highway

This is as far as Mirror Lake Highway is open as of today. Just below Trial Lake turn off, just above Provo Falls. No equipment for clearing the roads up there either. A ways to go till the top of the pass still and probably more on the north side. Doubt it will be clear in the next week or two.

Brrrrrr.. New snow from the last couple of days. Lots of deer wandering on the road too.

Looking south.

I would have gone with you guys, but I was busy solving global warming, diabetes, and obesity issues...

Well, actually I was doing the 100K service on my wifes diesel VW. Timing belt, water pump, all fluids, filters, clean intake, etc... The above issues may have been easier!!

Today I will tear into my Yamaha and check the valves, etc... gotta love a good maintenance weekend. So far, I've only drawn blood once!

I found my way to the "B" in Bountiful. I was soaked by the time I got there, but the sun eventually came out. I found some single track that was more fun than a spider in your shorts.

I have a little problem with my old Olympia Kevlar gloves. Whenever they get wet, the dye leaks. It took alot of scrubbing with AJAX to make my hands presentable for work tomorrow.

Where did everyone else end up?

Go to little sahara down near delta then instead of going left into little sahara go straight you'll run right into it.

Took the wife's scooter to the grocery store and back Monday. Sorry I didn't take time to snap some pics... it was a covert ride and raining hard.

I'm healing up but guessing I'm off the bike for another month still. So keep posting the reports and plans... I'm riding vicariously through you all...

Okay I don't work here, but forum member Todd-squad does.
Wheeler Machine the Cat dealer, has a company ride this Saturday 5/31.
You meet at their dealership @ 9:00ish and leave at 10:00.
Treats in the parking lot. $10 a rider, 100% match by Wheeler it all
goes to Primary Childrens Hospital.
This year it's over Wolf Creek Pass into Hanna for lunch and prizes.
So anyone looking to do some group street riding for a very good cause
should show up. Can you get a chrome ADV sticker by then???

I think I will even break out more chrome than I'm used to riding
(my wife hates the back seat, but it is a good cause)

Looks like I missed everyone today. I headed back to the B. It's just so damned easy - 20 minutes or so from my house and enough people around that I feel pretty safe riding solo.

There is a trail I really wanted to ride last week, but it was soaked so I thought I would give it another go today.

Turns out there was a downhill mountain bike race on the trail...much repsect for the downhillers!

I rode the Buck-something trail until it petered out into a stream. Not many pictures as it was so steep and rutted, I was worried I wouldn't be able to restart, but it shoor wuz perdy.

The trail basically runs into this stream. About 15 years ago, I used to ride this trail on my mountain bike from Meuller Park - I cannot remember how we navigated the stream, but I know the trail continues.

Hope everyone had good rides today

Me and Frog went to check out Super bike race in Tooele today. That was fun!

Those guys are nuts.

After the morning race we went to check out those mountains SW from the tracks. Perfect big bike trails over there, but a lots of dead ends. Still fun!

Matt at work

On the top we found some old mine.

And that view!

Good day,again!
