Nice photoshop work changing that green bike on it's side to orange.
I think I probably met my quota for the year on dropping my bike and it all happened in about 10 ft. Nothing like lifting a 450lb bike to just drop it again in the same spot.

It looks like your time was better spent after the race.
I went out on Sunday. I get bored once the pack is spread out and all it is is an annoying anouncer going on and on. The pits were interesting. The factory boys take this very seriously. Couldn't have been a better day. |

I would have been totally bummed, but the track marshall let us ride the track for about an hour Saturday after the crowds had left. Quite alot of fun, even with a speed limit! |

What are you thinking? I'm planning on riding the small bike sat. I may ride sunday it depends on how much I have to drink Sat. night.
I am having a BBQ and anyone, scratch that, Advrider's are welcome. Pm me for directions and time if interested.

Okay......time to get out and anyone is invited to join me. I'll be having breakfast at the Top-Hat Cafe (1147 N. Main in Sunset, Utah) somewhere between 7AM (opening time) and 8AM (hit-the-road time). The place is tucked into a little strip-mall right next to the road. It's in between a decorative rock place and a pawn shop. Look for a black and white DR650.
As you come in the door, look for a blue/black Joe Rocket jacket, probably sitting at the bar. Yell "Starskey" and I'll probably even smile at ya! After breakfast, I plan to roll through Ogden, up the canyon, across the dam, and over to Liberty. If the dirt road from Liberty to Avon is open, I'm going to set out across there and see how it goes (word is that some more snow may have fallen up there). If the Liberty-to-Avon gate is closed, then we can go on around the lake and maybe up Monte Cristo to find another place. I've seen just shy of 1000 miles of pavement on this bike, and about .5 miles of dirt. I need dirt! Everyone is invited. I'm a fairly new rider (with occasional bouts of carpel-tunnel-syndrome), still on my "permit", so I won't drive off and leave anyone. I like to take ample breaks to chat, stay hydrated and look at stuff. After a few hours of fun, we may find ourselves in Logan having lunch or going over the North Ogden pass headed home. We can play it by ear depending on who is there and what the day is like. Anyone game?

I will likely take a short-ish dirt ride on Sunday...that is if I can get my jetting issues resolved.

I'll be out of town this weekend, which is a pity because I'd love to drink all frog's beer.

I might just hit the "B" in Ogden to practice and get used to the new boots.
