Ummm... yeah, stay in Choteau, not Browning. Just in case no one ever told you before.

Thumb Yeehaw :-)

Can't wait...I have family in a little Nor Cal town named Shingletown, just west of the north entrance to
*****Lassen National Park*****. (If you find yourself in need of anything while near there PM or post and we'll rally the troops!) I don't remember if you passed through there already, if not it's a beautiful Alpine terrain. The Hwy 89 through there is awesome. (might still be closed due to snow check first) I was hoping to have a chance to ride up and perhaps break bread wit ya. Looks like chances are slim but will sure watch your progress.

Ride safe, have a blast!

While on a road trip to Billings, MT a brother that was riding drag went down and was rushed to the Browning hospital focing ther rest of the goup to spend the night. I can testify that the only redeaming featuer in Browning, MT is in fact the EMS and ER staff. There are some scarry poeple (man with one eye and two teeth that tried to pick up one of our ladey riders) there and you can still see cowboys and girls ride a horse to the local tavern.

watching your spot as you crossed hwy 15 in SE ID, I was wondering if walker creek went thru to mink cr rd, as you had in your planned route. Looks like upper rattlesnake rd that you're taking is a good alternative. Noted in my planned T2 route this fall. thanks for the field validation.

looks like you guys are having a blast, sure did pick a good weather window here out west.

Hi Guys,

Good to see the adventure continue

I see you took the plunge with the Garmin Montana. I'll be looking forward to your comments.

I sold Rosie 2-days before I left the US and will join you in the 400 club next week.

Have a great ride

Adam

Yep they have----went thru there 2 years ago.

Since they have no internet connection to tell you. Here is where they are---one of the most beautiful places I've ever been------Indian Springs-----a hot spring.

The hot water is coming out of the vertical rocks.

And then they'll have a brutal, long, rocky (loose rocks), steep climb out of there on a ledge road.
Me and Dingweeds were going the opposite direction and went down that-----bout cooked the brakes.
This area is no place for big bikes----their 400's should be fine.

If your bike weighs more than 400lbs. You might not make it.

Judging from the SPOT page, they made it out of the Canyon.

Gosh this is almost as exciting as following Dakar.

I was able to take a day off from work and join the Mobius Circus.
It was excellent. I'll be posting up a separate Ride Report in Day Trippin' as soon as I get the pictures uploaded.

Lot's a drama...

Closed Roads. Roads that turned into trails that were just too steep for us, as well as 7500 foot passes that were still blocked with snow...

I'll post the link here when I get the Report Started.

EDIT:
Here's the link.

yep2 hours to crawl out of that canyon. Less than 2 miles. Brutal. Safe & sound.
