WOW! All I can say is AWESUM! For the last 3 days , I've been catching up on Mob 9 and 10. I was in a lot of the same country this last May/June, but, on pavement only with the Bandit 1250S, even though it handles loose stuff better than the DL1000 I got rid of for it.
Want to thank all of you for all the work and time to share this journey with us.
I think one of those WR's would look good on the back of my truck ;-)

I'm giving the gift of Mobius this Christmas to both of my friends who don't know about it. And thanks so much, you two, for some of the best riding (and riding company) I had all year ... if not ever.

I couldn't resist trying to play with it in IPhoto but it's so strong color wise and taming the color didn't help but you might like the matte effect.

awesome shot where/when was it taken?

Really enjoy reading this thread and appreciate all the effort.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the entire Mobius crew, and thanks for all the peaks and valleys that made 2012 a little more joyous.

Merry Christmas Dave and Francine, and all the other mad Mobius adventurers.

Thanks for the response. It's been cold and snowing the past of couple of day; my daughter and I have been catching up reading through Mobius 4-7 together...we should be caught up by the New Year!

Hope you both are having a great Holiday.

Camera Question

[Side note -- this day's events and my inability to photograph it inspired me to buy an Olympus 1030sw, waterproof, dustproof, shock resistant. I'm still not satisfied with the photos I'm getting with it compared to the Fuji F30 -- mostly because of inferior auto-programs and lack of manual override on the olympus, but I'm hoping I can sort that out soon.]

So I am just at post #257 (2008) and came across your camera comment. It is 2012 now, what have you done in the meantime? Did you find a better solution than the Olympus?

Don't know if or when I'll catch up, but it certainly is a great read!
TATs not something I'm ever likely to do, but reading your MT1 has made me feel closer. I, too, particularly liked your pix and thoughts about being in the middle of the Great Plains.

Thanks,
