what kind of exhaust do you have on it?
The whole bike is standard at the moment, I think the exhaust sounds pretty good.

The bobble is a weird one alright, its the brake fluid, but with a great looking bike, well designed, why the hell is it sitting right up there! Touratech do a aluminium guard for it, but I think it makes it stick out even more. I've just put up the larger resolution pic of the first image, i'll get some more when/if the sun comes out

Well I wouldnt call myself an experienced biker with a lot of knowledge to compare it to, but power seems fine. I took a test ride on the F650GS before this one and the difference was huge, bigger than I expected. The engine does 'stutter' occaisionally, not sure if thats the right word to use. Basically if I slow down and am driving in too high a gear the engine kinda coughs. I saw on another forum that this also happens on another one of the BMW bikes that uses the same engine. Its no big deal though and I actually quite like the sound

To stop vibrations putting air in the fluid?

I still get a funny feeling in my pants when seeing my bike

I've had mine for exactly one month now. Done a quick 300 km ravel round trip yesterday. Went from Swelledam to De Hoop nature reserve, over a pont to Witsand, and back to Swellendam. Dit was donners lekker. I will send pics later. I struggle to attach. Every time it says time out error.

BIKE magazine said it was criminal of BMW not to include a proper bashplate on this bike. They were right. You might want to consider one if you will be riding on gravel/rocks. Otherwise, that bike is the dog's danglies.
