Well IF it fits the LC4, why not just call it the HP2 of KTM/ AKRA systems! Maybe its for the 450-525 as the pic points to ...

good catch overlord - they did screw another pic up on that page... but the list shows a LC4 can and header, all in Ti... wonder what it looks like?

I happened to see a brand new Akra Can today for a Kawa ??-10R thingy. I'd always wondered what went into the large price lags of these items imagining all sorts of costly baffles etc. Anyway this one was just straight through!!! It was just a straight pipe 55mm dia with several small radial holes in in leading to the surrounding packing all held together by the outer casing. Had the restrictor in place with tag welded screw head. That was IT!! Seems like it would be an interesting job to fabricate one from Ti or SS or CF. Is the LC4 one straight through as well

I haven't looked. The supermoto form doesnt need a sparky so it could be. And 98dBa makes me think it is straight through (louder than my straight thru IDS2). I would guess it probably is a race can.

The RFS model pictured looks rather FMF-ish

98 is too loud. We have far too few trails to ride as it is, and there is more to D/S riding than SM & Harley rallys.

agreed. my IDS2 w/ the race core is aboot 96 and its a bit loud fer me. When repacking I will likely go for a quiet core (PASSMORE - your dog chewed up your old IDS2 - did he get to the core or is it "available"? ), unless I can get one for a better price...

So after all this time and pages of this thread, nobody makes a stainless full exhaust for the LC4 that is available in the US? I mean, the Akra is nice, but nearly $1,000?!?!?!?! I wish M4, FMF, or Pro Circuit would build me a stainless exhaust!

Staintune has a whorehouse in the States.

http://www.staintune.com.au/exhausts/ktm/index.htm

There considered the best locally, and last forever. Has a removable "buttplug" or what ever its called like the Akra.

I got up early with mini-meat this AM (3am ); luckly I went to bed earlier than usual. Anyways, while I was rockin the lil' monkey back to sleep when I heard a little birdy outside my window try to tell the sleeping world, "Pro Circuit makes a T-4 muffler and a stainless header assembly... both sold seperately." I let my lil' slumbering monkey know that it was built for the LC4, not for her...

Go to the Staintune KTM page. There are two different options for mufflers and big-bore header pipes. I'm not sure which ones fit the LC4-E or -Adv, but the guys at CBT could probably tell you if you give them a call. Looks like a bargain at $605 for a stainless full system.

They used to list a spark arrestor insert that I believe was about $60, but it's not on there anymore. I would be surprised if Staintune quit making it--CBT prolly just doesn't list it anymore.

Geez, I used to own a T-4 slip-on and even asked about it, but had never seen a header. The slip-on was awesome so I'm going to order a full system!
