Sorry, I do not have the fab skills to do this - maybe I can call in a favour from a fab shop that owes me one?

What's that sound?

Yea, my bad. I'm down with the brotherhood of the BST though.

Get a bash plate made to your own spec. and you will then have the advantage of it having fuel cells to the size/position that you want, the gas cap will be in the right place and right size and the outlet will be where you want it. Find a decent local fabricator and it should cost you less than buying one from a shop. - Mine was (I had storage boxes on both sides).

If you had the tanks made to bolt on like my storage boxes you could have the option of leaving them off for shorter rides and easy replacement if damaged.

An 03 with rally tanks - what's the story on that seat?

And what do you plan to use her for?

It came with the tank and had a purple vinyl cover. I replaced the vinyl piece with a microsuede orange material which is fantastic.

Not sure, I rode it at the durty dabbers 08 in PA and the deserts of the big bend in 05 and 06. We will see what is next for her. I would love to do some interesting trips such as Mongolia or Patagonia-tierra del fuego. No competion though...
