very cool!

just curious how tall (or short) you are, or perhaps more accurately, how tall some of the frequent TW 200 riders are?

i've only been able to test-sit on them, and they seem kinda cramped to me, but i'm 6'2" with a 36" inseam.

i feel like i need a "booster seat"

5'11", 170 lbs. and the bike is comfortable enough. Some of the guys on the TW site are about your hieght they use risers for the handle bars and seem pretty happy.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy with it but when I get time I plan on trying to do a better job on the molded plastic tank covers. I think it makes the TW a lot more useable for the tasks I need it to do.

I'm attaching a couple of pics of the rack without the panniers attached so you can see the framework. I doubt this will work for your DR as it was put together for the TW but it might give you some ideas. You might check happytrails, caribou racks, or some of the other manufacturer websites for ideas specific to the DR. Good Luck
