If it moves, but shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Heading up that way for a week with the family. Bringing along my DR350 and will get in 2 or so days worth of riding.

Do most MC dealers sell ORV permits?

Anyone have a good recomendation for a shop anywhere off 127 or i69? I had a flast on my rear tires for my f650gs and had to plug it which has seemed to slow down the leak but not stop it completely. I leave evart area monday and have 340 miles back to indy.

Now that you ask, I dont know of any that do. Would make sense though...

Meijer stores sell them at the sporting goods counter. Wal marts probably do too.

US127 Motorsports just above St Johns MI will change that tire for you AND sell you an ORV sticker. Cheaper if you remove your own wheel of course. You buying their tire or carrying one? I would give them a call.

Ill give them a call in the morning tomorrow. Thanks for advice. Ill be purchasing a tire and hoping they have one in stock. I dont need an orv sticker. My bike is registered for the street in Indiana where I'm headed back to tomorrow.

From what I understand if you ride the trails you need an ORV sticker no matter what.

Looking at specs it looks like your bike takes a 140/80 - 17". This should be a tube tire if I recall right. So when you say plugged did you also patch the tube?

I have a 150/70-17 take off in my garage that would get you home but I don't know if it would fit your bike because of the added width. I don't have any 17" tubes but do have 18" tubes that would work in a pinch also. I am in the Lansing area.

As Bulz said US27moto is on your way home. Their number is (989) 224-8874

Others to check with are:

CENTRAL MOTOR SPORTS is another option to call and see what they have.

905 Corporate Dr
Mount Pleasant, MI 48858
(989) 773-6025

Leaving from Evart Grand Rapids is not that far out of the way and the BMW dealer there has always been good to deal with also.

BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids
5995 South Division
Grand Rapids, MI 49548
(616) 530-6900

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

Remember red and yellow make orange.so to think orange is better means you have to use two steps to get there.
