Honestly, I thought the same thing as I was typing that. I guess that gets back to the whole "real bike" argument.

I still refuse to waive at scooter riders though.

In support of scooter riders everywhere I posted a couple of weeks ago that the BMW scooter was my favorite bike at the BMW open house. Unfortunatelyy you have to have deep pockets to afford their scooter....$11,000! If I had that kind of money lying around I would buy a Yamaha Tmax and a KLR with money left over for some Timbits.

Many scooter riders ride rain or shine because they have no choice. Either they don't have a car or don't have a license. Then there are the few that do it because they are just a little crazy.
