Notice, old goat, that they came in soft muted colors and pastels. It was probably the Pacific Coast of its day.

Actually, a significant model in Triumph history. It's initial 350cc engine was the first Triumph engine build with unitized construction.
I WANT THAT. Even if it is kinda dorky. It's cool. Same goes for the PC800.
I'm all for a founders run. Not this week... this week bites.
But soon.

There is a old Vincent at the Lone Star Museum with a big ass rear end like my PC. Its a Black something or other. I'm sure Charlie can find a pic.

I'm guessing it was likely one of these. A Vincent Black Knight.

There was one of those at the Stockbridge All-CLub event last fall. THere's something about naming a bike a Black Knight versus a PC 800 that just sounds.....um, more manly.

On this date in 2012 I rode my bike to Detroit in 80 degree heat. Snow storm forecast for tomorrow night....So much for global warming.

Anyone down for a meet and greet soon in Traverse City, get to know some of the folks around us? Just need a little warm weather and a couple of rains to wash the salt and sand off the roads. If anyone is interested feel free to shoot me an email and I will compile a list of peeps and figure something out. Maybe the week of the 27th ?

Hey Goat, you going back to FL any time soon?

I need to get the boy's Ninja down to Kings Bay, GA.

We looked at renting a uhaul but it doesn't look like the Navy will cover the crazy cost.

You could borrow my truck.......but at around a min of 2200 miles @ 15mpg with diesel averaging around $4.00 gal +/-.....that's going to cost you $600-650 in fuel alone. You could ship it for less than that. Of course, if you're going down to see the boy.....then throw the cost out the window, right.

Or you could ride it down and fly back with your senior citizens discount. WHoops, that'd be old goat, never mind.

Oh and if you do borrow the truck, just remember it takes diesel, not premium unleaded!!

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll be riding down to Texas via the Ozarks. Post something in the Central forum. Someone must be going south for spring break.

WEll hell, it makes me laugh, too.....otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it. Got to be able to laugh at yourself first if your going to laugh at anyone else.

SO, you need to borrow the truck?
