I usually ride down to San Antonio in the spring but couldn't wait for the weather to get better so I drove the cage this year. What a boring ass trip in the car. Now I'm waiting for the weather to get better so I can come back home. It looks like I'll have to put up with the sunny and warm weather down here for a while longer. Poor Jeff in NM is probably bum'n too.

Hey old goat, found what you need for all them cross country trips..

1996 HONDA PACIFIC COAST / SIDECAR RIG
Ride by Side sidecar (now Texas Sidecar)
23,000 miles
800cc V-Twin, watercooled, 5 speed, shaft drive.
New Bridgestone tire on front.
Car tire on rear (6000 miles, still like new)
Air horn, Throttlemeister Cruise
Jenson radio and speakers am/fm/wb/aux for MP3
Driving lights
12 volt outlet
Built in lockable storage. Rear of bike opens to allow access to built in saddlebags.
Trailer hitch and wiring for both 4 and 5 flat plugs
Sidecar seat tilts forward to allow access to sidecar trunk.
Chrome wheel on sidecar, tire like new.
Tonneau cover
$6000
Call John at 724-799-3300
There are very few Pacific Coast sidecar rigs in the world. It really stands out at bike shows. People that have owned these bikes describe them as smooth/comfortable/bullet proof. Compared to most rigs, this outfit is like driving a sports car.

Speaking of wet crotches....

Couple a family emergency with the need to get the Ninja down to the boy in GA, and I'm off on a two day ride to Fort Myers tomorrow (later today for you day-walkers)

I don't know if my ass can take two days of 700 miles each, but we'll see
