Amen to that. I hate Miami at any temp. Suppose to be a trophy day Monday, 65 and sunny. ..Hot damn! I hope the DR will start after sitting all winter.

I drove down to Indianapolis yesterday to pick it up from a great guy. It will undergo some styling changes immediately. It came with an FMF pipe, Michelin T63's, and some nice hand guards.

Hey ,it has an E-Start on it too. Gotta love those 90s graphics. Must have been a pattern for a Barbie Bike. You will like it's nice tractable engine and I bet you can get a semi-modern graphics set from a DRZ or something to fit with a little scissor work probably. A nice find. You will not like the front T-63........... Zero OR bite. Sort of like a Deathwing.

I'll keep an eye on the the front end. I had a T63 on my KTM 950, but it wasn't the front tire traction that I needed to watch for.

I've already removed all of the stickers. I found out the tank graphics are under a clear coat so they have to be sanded off. Maybe I'll just have to scrape up the $$ for an Acerbis tank.

Nice bike dude. Looks just like the DR350 Reyer had. His was a 1997 I think. I miss that bike. It was damn fun.

Thats a beauty! I wonder if the tank from the 650 will fit? I see new ones on the DR650 forum once in a while. Seat Concepts makes replacement foam and cover.

I kinda miss that '95 I had. In a lot of ways a more civil dual-sport than my plated XR600. Not as much fun off-road as the XR, heavier and lacking in suspension for the rough stuff, but for what I consider a true all-around dual-sport, I'd have to go with the DR. Pushing that button is a lot easier than kicking over that 600.

Those look nice, but a little out of my price range right now since I blew my stash. I'm thinking more of a Than/KLR style of pricing.

So you are going to carry extra gas in a used milk jug.

That's gravity assisted starting. All about kinetic energy.....mass x velocity.....
