Especially if it has the stock seat. Back in the day, 1971 to be exact, I put 11,000 on my new Yami Dt-1. My girlfriend never forgave me, thankfully.

Um...not really top show quality, but the Saturday ride sounds like fun.

Well, not planning on a trailer queen kind of show. More of a ride and show whatever you got. Daily riders, home brewed concoctions from any genre.

Still one more to go and I will be down to 2..... A KT 255 Kaw trials bike, ready for comp that I will sell for $1000 if anyone is interested. PM me for a pic if you are.
I saw the KT 255 on Sunday, it's a sweet bike!

Nope, up sizing! I've almost perfected the 50 so it's time to move up to a 90!

Sweet little bikes. We've had about a 1/2dz of those go thru the shop.
That one looks to be in pretty nice shape.

Galesburg has an annual event called Greater Galesburg Days. They have asked us if we would consider putting on a bike show for a day. Can't hardly turn down that request....a lot of little towns are not extremely biker friendly. We also happen to be located on the main street and the big parade goes right by the shop.

GIlmore's is one of the largest shows in the mid-west and it tends to draw more of the restoration crowd. What we are intending to do is have more of a laid-back atmosphere. No classes, no trophies, no admission fee. Trailer queens welcome, but so are old daily riders. Garage-built customs.....cafe, street-tracker, or bobber are all welcome. Show your home-grown gems. Even rat rods would be welcome.

The date would be Saturday, June 15th, the weekend after Gilmore's.

Bring it over anytime and we will set it out front. Sold my Beta Techno that way.

Is anybody on this side a DS rider? www.GLDSMC.org has a couple great rides coming up. Free to anyone and you don't have to be a member(only $10/yr). They are lots of fun and a bunch of good people.
