Duh...I ridden it as far as Staunton. All the roads from West Va. over the mountains into the Shenandoah Valley are great! Did you make the ride on that old trail wing Than? How many miles were on that chain?

I did do the ride on the old trail wing and she's pretty much all burned up now.

I think I'll pick up a Pirelli Scorpion to match the front in replacement.

Only 10,500 or so on the stock chain when I started the trip, but I made the mistake of setting slack at factory settings unweighted. After I got on board the now 4 year old stock suspension with 20# of gear and 50# of equipment that chain was a time bomb.

Gald you liked it. Did you happen to camp in Durbin? Down around the Dragon, did you get a chance to taek the Little River Road?

That one campground looked familiar, except we stayed up on higher ground instead of down by the river. Was that off the BRP?

On last years BRP trip we took 250 from Sandusky to Waynesboro. It was the highlight of the trip!

Yup Durbin. We camped in the campground right down town.

Ate in a dinner, camped feet from the river, walked across the tracks past the steam locomotive and had breakfast at this place. Don't remember the name though.

Eastern W.V. is awesome. Great pavement, great gravel, hiking and fishing and yaking. Most folks here have toothbrushes too.

No, we didn't camp in Durbin. We would have passed through there mid day during day 2 or 3. We camped outside of Roanoke.

FYI, I think I am finally going to drop the hammer and sell the KLR. If you know of anyone interested let me know. Looking at around $3,500 right now.

I will clean it up on Wednesday and get pictures out of it.

I'm not exactly sure yet, but I do love the F650GS twin. The Versus, V-Strom, etc. are all on my radar too though.

I've heard that and I'm definitely interested. At this point I think I'm going to look for what's a good deal so I can resell it if it's not for me.

My buddy from Chicago just put his up for sale, he is a straight-forward guy so here is the shameless plug:
