It's just a plate you put between the upper triple and handlebar top plate.....they make them for all years of Hayabusas. Soupy's Performance here in Grand Rapids also makes a version with longer screws and spacers.

Tried to fire up my TW200 but no battery love. Put it on tender and fired up the DR350SE.

Took it out and a 30 seconds later went down. It was fully fueled so gas started leaking out from stupid vent thingy (I am going to cap it). Tried to pick it up from the wrong side before I realized what I was doing.

Got the bike upright just before neighbor reached me to help. I rode around the block, but really got winded with dabbing my feet every 2 seconds. I am a little out of shape (probable) or I am very out of shape (very probable).

I get back home and my Wife reminds me that the driveway is not going to shovel itself. I almost said "you are right Honey, get the Girls to help you". But that would be the end of many privileges and so wisdom prevailed. I am The Man.

I have ridden in the snow/ice this year, but today it was very tough.

You know, Than, I've noticed how many bikes you describe as "sexy".

You do got it bad, don't ya.

As long as you're talking about one of these caps you're okay. Actually plugging the vent will of course lead to the engine stopping until the vacuum in the tank subsides. But, I'm sure you already knew this.....

I can't see your images. Anyhow, on the DR350 I have installed an Acerbis aftermarket tank.. It has dual (non Vacuum) petcocks. If I can't cap the little tubing above the fuel tank cap, I will just add a longer vent tube.

hey.....pretty sure the $20 air vent stems that you buy at the dirt bike store have little ball bearings that shut the valve off during tip-overs.

Put on a pair of red riding boats and click your heels twice.
