They might have been headed WAY SOUTH with me down to Wauseon! There were a ton of those big v-twins down there. There was also a big rock/country concert at MIS in Brooklyn.

Wauseon flattrack races were great last night. They got Springer back on a bike for a match race against Geo Roeder.... 10 laps and about 20 lead changes Springer won by a bike length . Lots of MI riders did well..... Mayer and Mays out of Midland. Eric Kolenda out of GR. Skip Wertz, the Wheeler flash, looked great too.

Reminded me of the old days. GOt a pit pass and was standing in the grass about 12-15 ft from the edge of the track, entrance to turn 3, watching Springsteen and Roeder go sliding by no more than 20 some foot away.

Great races aren't they Charlie? I was bummed that Ben Evans' Rotax #69 gave out there, as he and brother Eric usually put on a real show in 80s singles too. Nice to see the huge crowd.

Back to Whiskey Creek.

Haven't been here for a few years. For those that have never been here, it's a nice place. Moto friendly, access to trails from your camp site. Large indoor pool and tub....yadda, yadda...Linky;

http://www.whiskeycreekcamp.com/About_Us.html

We'll be there Thur 7/24 till Tue 7/29. C'mon up.

Next week then. This week not good after Wednesday due to Ingham Co fair going on this week. Too humid to wear a helmet. Forget it for a week. Go get wet and keep cool.

Wife in charge of fine arts at fair. I usually help her with stuff like hanging up the art work, running out to get lunch /dinner for them. Takes a lot of time up.

You BETTER be wearing that stinking helmet....hot or not brother

I know. I'm not a good role model. I eat too much, ride too little and refuse to wear a helmet when the temps go over 100..
