Riders leaving Thursday for FMF

pfb, chacha, asaracho and I are leaving for FMF at 2pm if anyone wants to ride in the rain with us. It looks like Fourmile should be dry when we get there.

Nick.... are you in???

Afternoon sounds good to me. What's the route and I'll see about an intercept.

I might be leaving later than 2, but I'm south of you.

My Plan

I have talked to Playznmud and Wannabeeuro about leaving Thursday afternoon.
The plan is still in the works, but the route that I have been looking at is to get to Bailey the best way, depending on where you are starting from. Take Stoney Pass Rd south to Goose Creek Rd to Hwy 24. (It comes out near Lake George. Do about 20 miles of slab to CR55 then in the back way to FMF Camp.
We could meet at Wellington Lake.
GPS Coordinates:
39.19'04.60N

I was possibly in at your original 5 pm time, but can't do 2 pm, gotta work! Earliest I could leave would be 4.

Looks like I will head out Friday morning around 8. See ya there!

Pat where are you leaving from at 2:00. If you would want a couple of FF's like Geek and myself that might work out well.

What route would you be taking??

We are shooting for a 3:30 departure, we may be able to go earlier, I won't know until the morning.

Out for early departure

I am stuck waiting on a tire. I'm thinking I'll probably get out of Denver by 4:30.

We should be leaving thursday afternoon driving the little truck down. Should have room for a cooler or two if needed..... nothing that can't take the rain if needed......

We have two truck's in our group with FMF n00b's so I think we will just go 285. It also looks like we will have rain most of the way down. Four Mile weather is a 30% chance of rain so it might be dry when we get there. IB & Geek we can hook up with you and anyone else at C470 and 285 after 2pm when we leave here.

Edit: Fore Mile now 70% chance of rain.

To make logistics easier, and since you are just slabbing it out there, Geek and I will just cruise out there and meet you at the campsite.
