I want to do a trip next weekend. 2 day easy ride through bloddy basin to mayer, camp outside of Mayer and then from mayer to crown king and then down to lake pleasent the back way. 100 mi. of dirt roads. Lots of time to take photos and sight see.
Who is in? I want to leave from somewhere in cave creek at around 8:30 on Saturday.

Fishing
Chevlon and Bear lakes are the best for fishing and camping this time of year. They both require about a half mile hike in. Chevlon is artificaial lures only. Camping is too bloody hot on the rim this time of year.

I hate riding in the heat, so I'm looking ot head out 5:00 am. I know that's going to be early for some folks, but it's pretty miserable trail riding when it's 100+ degrees.
