Good news Tmax's are arriving slowly in the US I am going to check on mine tommorow......

5' 11" - leg room and sitting position is good. Seat is flat so it's easy and comfortable to move forward or back. With both feet on the floor, my knees are bent - guessing the seat height is somewhere around 30"

Seems really nicely finished off, and it looks great up close, but the price...

Hey rhinowerx what is your inseam??

From all the other pics I have seen the leg room looks to be more than with you on it???

Maybe everone else in the pics have been shorter people? Imagine that.

Thanks for all the pics, it looks great. I noticed they do not have the flash to pass bright light button on the left control housing. I wonder why Yamaha does not do this in the US. They show it in the picture gallery on the Yamaha site.

Storage is sacrificed to create more ground clearance. You could add a Givi top box though.

My inseam is around 31.5 (32" pants are sometimes too long, and 30's are too short...). You may be able tell in the pic but I'm not sitting all the way back.

As for storage, using the Burg 400 as a benchmark, no it doesn't have as much. The under seat compartment does look big enough to comfortably hold a full face lid. And then there are the two front gloveboxes. I was somewhat disappointed at least one of them was not lockable.

I think the key features about this scoot, over other similar contenders, at least for me, is looks and (from everything I've read) performance. The fit and finish is very nice and for all intensive purposes, it looks like it wide ride and handle quite well.

but the price...

The Tmax pictures are very nice indeed The storage area is about what I expected and the seat even though it is higher than my Majesty looks like it is a bit narrower allowing better contact with the ground. Now the best question is have you ridden it yet? As you said they were still putting it together. I would like to see what it looks like coming out of the crate.....

The TMAX has less storage than the Majesty.

Yamaha site says the TMax will hold 1 full face helmet under the seat.

For the Majesty it says it will hold 2 full face helmets under the seat.
