Garmin maps for Albania

Am off to Albania on the KTM, anyone know if there is any mapping for my Garmin 2610?

I'm afraid there's no such thing for Albania at the moment,unless you have Pentagon connections...

City Navigator 2008 Deluxe DVD has limited coverage of Albania.

This includes Motorways and major roads plus some slightly lesser roads. It also includes railways, and rivers and the location of some petrol stations and other POIs. It will route you between any towns were the roads are covered.

There does not appear to be any detail of streets within towns, only the centroids.

Strangely, in MapSource, when you select the higher resolutions, some roads appear, but the towns disappear. Looks like Garmin need to sort out a bug.

Note that if you are using this with a 2610, you need the "deluxe DVD and NOT th NT version.

What he said but check the base map on your 2610. It may have that level already.

Before you buy CN Europe you should find out what it really covers.I have only CN Europe NT 2008 but one crossroad represent even the capitol Tirana.Any paper map is 1000% better.I may be wrong,but I doubt NT v9 is any better.Drive safe

if you want to go to Albania there is a Garmin Map named Adria Route.
Here for example the City Map of Tirana.

I used the Adria route map in Slovenia and Croatia this summer, also for offroad portions. It is very detailed and ahighly recommandable map for your Garmin in that area! Albania is also covered.

There is somewhere a free map for Albania, and it is rather good also.
