Pretty complicated number of bends in those racks. Who ever did them did a hell of a job. Maybe you should "loan" them out to Nate so he can have them duplcated.

Those racks were made by Happy Trails, older design and discontinued, unfortunately so because I like them better myself.

No kidding. I wonder why they stopped making them... to much of a labor investment I'd bet. I'd also bet the current ones aren't near as "shapped" to the bike.

I would love to get my hands an a set of those racks... looks perfect for giving the soft bags a comfortable resting spot. Also great for strapping and lashing. Really nice how they hug the bike.

I called HT many months ago and asked if they had any old ones left and they were depleted of all old stock.

Or maybe sales stopped. Didn't we determine that there were probably fewer than 1000 Adventures imported from 97-2003? How many used the new plastics? How many wanted racks?

Yep... catering to the Adventure market can be an exercise in frustration but, they would also fit most LC4s... LC4Es, 625SXCs, StuporMotos, RXCs... just about everything but a Duke... and maybe that too.

The 99 Adventure is still only a substitute for the bike I really want but can't afford:
Don't settle for substitutes...

Hmm, how does it go? Something like "the '99 is the best ever colour scheme on an AdventureR EVER...."

They are just so pruddy, sexy, suave, and an absolute Chick magnet...
