Frontwheel blowout

......looks like one of the spokes snapped at the hub; the spoke then migrated into the tube.

Slime everyehere but the hole was just too big for it to plug.

Have to say that these are really robust bikes when you drop them; only damage was to the paintwork on the tank. Now if that had been my 748SPS the freeway would have been covered in expensive debris !

Congratulations Hiroyuki! Nice web page BTW. I am trying to get thru it translated on Babelfish; if you have the time put up a bilingual page - people around here love to read about other people's mods and such.

So how was the over 500CC driver's licence test? I heard it was difficult over there.

Also, some people would be interested in your source for the carbon tank guards here. Especially as it has a petcock protector built in...

small license is 51~125cc.
medium license is 126~400cc.
large license(Non limited) is 401~.

I heard several percent examinee get large license.
I've got license 10 years ago.
I make bilingual page that is difficult than get license.

Congratulations on the licence; only a few percent eh? Is there really a section where you have to navigate obstacles like driving on a log? That would cut down on the idiots over here but Americans would just whine that it is too difficult (freedom of choice to get 100 HP under your crotch, go 150MPH thru the city and kill somebody...) and it would probably never get thru the government...

Understood on the bilingual; no worries - Babelfish does a half decent job of translating. A little whacky sometimes. For example:

私の2003 KTM 640 の冒険は第5 ギヤのwheelies をする!

How did that turn out? Ain't technology grand? The best used to be translating it back into english, but that doesn't seem to do much with Japanese like Spanish.

Now thats a web page!

Just from the pictures alone I would say that Hiroyuki here went to some lengths to lower the bike. Looks great Hiroyuki!

I agree with Meat. The carbon tank guards are just what we've been looking for. Who is the source Hiroyuki?
It would figure that the trickest parts for KTMs come from Japan, I used to get a Japanese sport bike magazine... and it was full of trick shit you couldn't get here.

Welcome to the asylum Hiroyuki... beautiful bike, a great web site... you will be an asset to the Forums

Just Got It Broken In

Man I'm really starting to love this bike, hardly missing my
Aussie 450 RFS at all. It really offers great protection from the elements so to speak, only my boots had mud on them

I have one of those "why the fuck" questions. Why the fuck... does that front tire look new, on an otherwise perfectly filthy bike?

I promise not to tell anyone you can actually be a decent guy... we'll let them keep thinking your a rat bastard... M-kay?

Brother Hiroyuki is really into the whole KTM religion... And, he's not a pretentious, self-absorbed, dickwad... which is refreshing

He's kind of our new "Japanese KTM connection". Don't want to scare him off... yet.
