I am planning on making my tool and changing my bearing this week. If my tool works, you are free to use it, you pay shipping. I will keep you posted.

Just installed my Kendas and went for a very short ride. New, cold, knobbies=sliding on the street!

Slide the rear a tiny bit exiting a turn, and spun up the rear attempting a roll-on power wheelie.

I'm curious how they will do off-road. I intend to find out ASAP.

Soooo, I'm guessing we'll be seeing some 640 Adventures at Hot Springs next year, no ???

Hahahahahahha....

Barry
I might not make Hot Springs this year. Anniversary is 5/22. But, I'm going to do my best to make BYOB, wherever it happens to be.

I hear the Kenda's improve a lot with a few miles. Let me know about stability at 70+ mph.

Sounds good! Do you know of a Glen Kennedy who may still shape surfboards in the valley? Some of my LA friends surfed on his team twenty years ago.

I will look for your report and/or PM on the bearing/tool. Thanks.

Yeah, I have been too his shop a few times. I get "Kennedy" logo stickers!!! One of my buddies ride a board shaped by him.

I will keep you posted, with photos, on the bearing swap. I am thinking Wed/Thur.

Nice looking bike. Welcome to the Asylum!

If the seat bothers you, try the KTM "Comfort" seat sold at dealers if money is tight, or search for the seat made by Bojangles who is a member of this site.
