does any one know of a 640 adventure for sale. I sold my 02 two years back and I have been regretting it since. Especially since I moved to Idaho last November. I just spent the day driving my cage around the snow covered mountains and can't wait for spring and get my all time favorite street bike back.

Idaho good... Sell an Adventure? And you didn't need a heart transplant or something equally life threatening and costly?... Bad.

Mars, mars, mars... tisk, tisk, tisk.

9 Days Old As of This Post!

These pic's are in one or two other threads at least, but since I haven't had it that long, I don't have too many pics yet to choose from.

It's an '02 that I bought from a dealer in the Bay Area. It was a factory demo model with 1200 miles on it & a fresh full Factory warranty

It's pretty stock, with only:
Re-jetted the main jet to 152.5 & drilled out the vacuum ports.
Core removal from the stock Supertrapp exhaust pweformed by Creeper himself, and added some extra disks to total 11.
Charcoal cannisterectomy.
KTM Billet gas cap + check valve.

On the way already:
Touratech headlight guard, countershaft cover & aluminum rear rack extension.
SW Mototech bolt on sidestand & Stainless steel chain guard.
KTM Hard Parts open/mesh air box side cover.

Future wants (some sooner than others!):
Boejangle's (Renazco) seat - of course!
Knobbies
GPS setup (maybe the Garmin Map 276C) with Touratech bracket
Wolfman Tankbag
Hard side cases/pannier system (aluminum 35L both sides prolly)
Akrapovic full system (or perhaps other exhaust system). I'm still researching exhausts
Augment lighting (maybe HID)

I'm sure I'll dream up other stuff in time. For now, I'm putting miles on it

So the stock seat is doing you right?!?!?!?

With the miles you put on it the other weekend I figured your ass would be screaming for one

Not trying to push product on you, but I am genuinely interested if you find the stocker comfy...

Gel insert

I have the same seat, and mine is an 01 --those came stock with gel inserts. Mine did any way and I love it, it's soft and absorbs a lot of vibs, my arse is happy, even on the longest rides. Last year I did 500 hwy miles (75-85 MPH) on 16/42 sprockets and had no problems.

Nice looking bike LC4 Pilot

Mike, the irony is that I was just reading through the beginning of this thread (I'm only up to page 18 so far), and I came across someone listing an '03 comfort seat as a mod... so that reminded me of one of the most important mods I want to do! I came back to my post to remedy the oversight, and I see your post My post above is ammended

One Renazco seat will definitely be gracing my steed before long. The stock seat is a brick. I'm dealing with it for now, but not for long.
