Nope... :) that was an ugly, overcasted day at Melides, some 100 Km south of that "Portuguese Riviera".

Good to see you Brother Carlos, and don't fall off that itty bitty board walk they apparently make you ride on
Thanks! We're not supposed to ride that! It's the pedestrian access to the beach... I just parked in there for a quick pic...

THat's the spare clutch cable. I know it looks like something is wrong which is the way I ride but it's just a spare.

Hey Creeper, you might be Coriolus challenged, why is it that a compass that works in Sydney will be next to useless in California, or even Hawaii? How can I protect my BST 40 from these harmful effects?

You may recall, rapiti my main man, that it was I who originally proposed the "amalgamated theory of the counter-clockwise flush" and ChrisC who called it by it's more correct but less entertaining phrase "Hemisphere's inverted coreolis effect impacts the BST's jetting...."
And finally, nobody but you would know about some top secret Australian CIA spec-ops compass that works backwards.
And now I will go "Creep" on that for awhile...

Creeping away to Creep,
Creeper

In response to your edit rapiti, I think putting magnets all over your bike should protect your BST from the dreaded "CE".

Who wants the 100th post in this thread? Its up for grabs!

Back to the Sign in part. nh nah nah. It's not an Adventure but it's the Adkins version. Adventure lite.
01 Lc4 with the Flanny pipe. diy carbon airbox cover. jetted , comfort seat, diy bar risers etc etc. (and thelittle shit) and everything I don't need tossed in the trash. ( actually in a box somewere) but it suits me fine.
To bad it see's more commute time than trail time lately but it's hella fun splitting lanes, jumping road berms and scarring the piss out of old ladies in traffic.
SO this weekend It's hitten the woods. Wife has a girl freind over for the weekend, SO I'm outta here.
Pics will be forth coming. Oh, they have their own camera.

Brew 102 (unless Creeper beats me to it!)

Well done, Creeper! I had to creep away for a bit to get my kid outta' the bath before I toned down my creepy initial post, but by then, you had already crept up on me!

In my younger days, we shipped a boat up from Sydney to race in Honolulu. The compass was all out of whack, like the card was tilted ~45deg! Red Labeled a N. Hemisphere version, and had that re swung for the next regatta in SF. The Ert's magnetic fields are an interesting topic that I know little about. Anybody been to 'Zona de Silencio' out between Saltillo & Torreon? Or is it Torreon y Chihuahua?
