You are not wrong! Would anyone like to be a FF and mail me a couple of those things? I can't get hold of anything similar in my parts. Will pay for all costs and send a care package from the outer darkness in appreciation.

I was just kidding man. That sentence you posted has actually boosted your chances. I'll be voting for ya.....

I just received some Pivot Pegz off the nice mailperson for my 640, and I'm off work for 4 days starting in the morning. Can you guess what I'm going to play with? (No dirty stuff ).

Mmmmmmmmm, shiny shiny.

Hey Tappet, I'm gonna have a tool box fabbed out of Aluminum to go under my rear fender whenever I get it back together. Oh and thanks for the info about Chris Barnes, my tank guards are waiting to go on the bike too.

Awesome. Under the seat is what I'm wanting one for. If there's any chance of getting an extra one fabbed I'd snap it up.

Yeh those tank guards rock!

I bet you spend less than an hour putting on the pegs, er, pegz and then you are going to go rideabout. What can you reach within three days of your house?

Is there room under the fender for anything? When the rear suspension fully compresses how much room is left? Just thinking of the front, which has zero room left for adding more space between the fender and the wheel because at full stop it hits the bottom of the triple tree.

If you are thinking on the side, remember that even if there is currently room, the rear subframe flexes and bends too easily to rely on the relationship between the rear wheel and anything close to either side of it. The Tool Tube idea was shot down not because the buggah broke free but because someone's rear wheel ground through and released the tools...

my 640 ADV

Hi, I'm new to this site and bought my 640 ADV in December 2008. Had the bike in the garage for most of the UK winter but now it's spring i've just serviced & MOT it & covered 400 miles. Having a little problem with the bike idleing after it's warmed up, it just stalls. Starting again can be a pain and I need to cure this. Bike is an '05 plate with 28k on the clock but has a full KTM service history and only 1 previous owner so I'd have expected him to have ironed out all niggles like re jetting the carb but any advise would be appreciated. Anyway love the bike but just need to sort the niggle.
Lee.

Congratulations on a fine bike. It sounds as though a good carb cleaning is in order.

Welcome Lee. A handy addition is one of Loaded's mixture screws, it makes it possible to adjust the idle mixture without having to rip the carb off. You'll find something in the index somewhere that points you there.
