We wear shorts & Flip flops up here in the snow while skiiing ... Just don't fall down 'cuz that ice is worse than road rash on tarmac. The only good thing is you don't bleed until you thaw out. By then you've had a chance to fill the flask with 'medicine'. I just haven't figured out where to put my bwdr sticker?

Take care Tucker ... Be safe.

Happy New Year everyone !!!!

Ride On !

What the f*ck happened to ya Tuck... did you enlist?!? Why are you in The IRAQ for a year?? Guess I missed that thread... anyway, be safe. I hope the time passes quickly for you.

Loftus: Great vid! BTW, what ever happened with the BWDR t-shirts?? Maybe I missed that thread, too......

Whats going on

Hey losers, long time no see. If the GF is not going out of town with me to avoid the mass migration, imprisonment, and overall cluster F here I was looking to maybe do some riding/hiking next weekend. I got a 4-5 day weekend and am still looking for good ideas. Any takers?

The shirts are being made

All rejoice for the BWDR T shirts are in the works...Now I don't want a lot of whining from you guys about color... I picked One befitting our adventurous spirit... Olive is the name but it is sorta a mix of brown olive and dark grey...
it is going to look great... the cloth is top grade tight weave and thin like climbing shirts .. these are not supposed to shrink much and are formed..all i can say is maybe go one size up... get me the sizes again so we the Original BWDRs have ours first... .more expensive than hanes but well worth it..the little i make off of this first run is going to be dumped into a second as well as GI caps with logo...From small beginnings you know...$28 for others $22 for us.. these will be sweet...

And we have an official Latte now..

New England Cure for Cabin Fever

Death Riders!
Just came back from visiting my old stomping grounds....you guessed it Upstate NY Tried my best to earn my BWDR sticker I fly proudly with some ice riding Flippin Fun!!! Fun! Fun!! Only went off the track twice not bad though just through a snow bank and back on, bikes hook up really well with all those cold cutters drilled in the knobs. The hands though.....mmmmmm not so good, Could only do about 5 laps before I had to pit into the warm truck for defrosting. It was 8 the day we went and with a 45 mph wind chill that makes it cold, F'n COLD!!!

Check it out if interested....

Definately interested in some shirts!! One for me and one for Mammasan. I take an extra medium and she takes a extra small, so with "athletic fit" I guess we need a large and a small. Lurking for payment info.......perhaps a large dinner will suffice???
